Question: How do I borrow a book?

The SU Library and the branch libraries are open during library hours for SU staff and students to browse the shelves, find the books they want to borrow and check it out at the self-check out/in machines or at Client Service.

An alternative is to:

Request a book pick-up service

Staff and students who are able to come to the library may request items to be picked up. For details please visit Request a book for pickup.

Library staff will fetch the requested books from the shelf. The student or staff member will be notified by e-mail when he/she may come to the Library to borrow the books.

Biblioteekpersoneel sal die aangevraagde boeke van die rak afhaal. Die student of personeellid sal per e-pos in kennis gestel word wanneer hy/sy die boeke by die Biblioteek mag kom uitneem.
