I live in Windhoek and am busy with my MBA. I do not have access to local University libraries and want to know if I can download prescribed books from the library to read.

Answer

Yes, living outside the border can be a problem. I would suggest that you use the electronic databases as far as possible for finding information for assignments in academic journals.

Just remember to use your student login and password when you are asked for a login and password.

Although the SU library have a collection of e-books, you can use a few chapters at a time and will not be able to download a complete book. Please consult the library guide for e-books for, amongst others, information on downloading and printing e-books.

For general assistance on how to find information on the library webpage I could recommend the How do I find, access and use information effectively: a step-by-step guide
