Dear Madam, Sir, I am from the Netherlands and have been on exchange to SU in the semester July/December 2012. I will return to Stellenbosch for a short time. My husband has to participate at the wineland conference (March 31 till April 4) and I will join him and will be from Thursday the 27th of March till Saturday the 5th of April in Stellenbosch. I am doing a master now at Tilburg University and am working on my thesis, therefore I have a request. Can I, as an old student, become a guest admission for the library? I will use an own laptop but the option to search for articles and books would be so helpful. And of course…. It is also for the feeling to sit and study in the library again  I noticed it is the fall break so it will not be that crowded during that period. Kind regards, Anke Vroomen Anke.vroomen@freeler.nl My Stellenbosch student number was: 17629489

Answer

If your are not a current student, you will unfortunately not have electronic access via your own laptop to the databases and electronic journals the Library subscribed to. You are however always welcome to use the Library. Please sign in at the security desk as a visitor. To access our electronic resources you are also welcome to use the "quick access" computer stations nearby the Information Desks. Please contact us again if you need any further assistance.
